Overview

snaptype is a CLI tool. The free tier requires no account, no registration, and collects no personal data. This policy applies to the snaptype.dev website and the Pro licence purchase process.

Data we collect

• Email address — collected by Lemon Squeezy at checkout, used solely to deliver your licence key. We do not store it separately.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. snaptype never sees or stores your card details.
• Anonymous usage statistics — snaptype.dev uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first tool that collects no personal data and sets no cookies. Data is aggregated and never sold.

What we do not collect

• The JSON, CSV, or API data you pass to the CLI — it never leaves your machine.
• The TypeScript types or Zod schemas you generate.
• Any telemetry from the CLI itself.

Third-party processors

• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and licence key delivery. Their privacy policy applies to all purchase data: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy
• Vercel — website hosting. Standard server logs (IP, user-agent) may be retained for up to 30 days.
• Plausible Analytics — cookieless, GDPR-compliant analytics. No personal data stored.

Data retention

Your email is retained by Lemon Squeezy for as long as necessary to manage your licence and comply with tax obligations. You can request deletion by contacting us.

Under GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@snaptype.dev.
